A Beginner’s Guide to Thriving with Diabetes is a downloadable guide—available in English and Spanish for both type 1 and type 2 diabetes—that you can read on your phone or print out.

The resource explains the basics of managing diabetes post-diagnosis in a simple, easy-to-understand way. To help make the first months after your diagnosis easier and boost your confidence, the resource offers:

  • Emotional support and
  • Real-life stories

Addressing Barriers to Diabetes Care

Kristian Hurley, SVP of Social Impact and Global Advocacy at Beyond Type 2, emphasizes the urgency of accessible, quality information.
