Ellen is an award-winning interior designer based in Colorado Springs, but having a strong family history of diabetes has inspired her to become a passionate advocate for all things related to Type 1. Having worked in the corporate world of design for over twenty years, she now freelances to find the perfect balance of business and philanthropy in her life. She has an insatiable appetite for learning about people and exploring new places and believes there should always be another European vacation “in the works”. In her downtime she enjoys relaxing with her family, running at altitude and reading historical biographies about absolutely anyone.
