Jennifer Schneider, MD
Jennifer Schneider, MD is an orthopedic surgeon and medical device entrepreneur. She practiced at Stanford and the Palo Alto Medical Foundation for 15 years. In 2014 she founded a diabetes company that partnered with Insulet to develop their hybrid closed loop system. She earned her undergraduate degree from Harvard University, her MD from Georgetown University, and completed her general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Stanford University. Jennifer’s daughter and husband both live with type 1. Her husband developed type 1 as an adult, and just a few years later their daughter developed type 1 at the age of 2. Jennifer also serves on the diabetes Clinical Advisory Panel for the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine and is a volunteer with JDRF on the Research Committee and Greater Bay Area Board.
