Lucy has been living with Type 1 diabetes for 30 years, has dual Spanish and Argentinean nationality and has a Law Degree from the University of Oviedo. She is an active member of the diabetes online community, a subject in which she is constantly updated, and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She is also an expert patient in cardio-metabolic chronic diseases by the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos and an activist for the rights of LGBTQ+
