In May and June 2018, Beyond Type 1 joined Accu-Chek® in saying #BuckOffDiabetes!The campaign successfully raised $60,000 for diabetes awareness and education and to tell diabetes to #BuckOff.
Beyond Type 1 was one of three charity partners, including the College Diabetes Network (CDN) and Taking Control of Your Diabetes (TCOYD), of the #BuckOffDiabetes Campaign.
Accu-Chek donated a buck to Beyond Type 1 for every person who turned their fingers into bull horns and posted a photo using the #BuckOffDiabetes hashtag.
Though the campaign is over, people with diabetes are encouraged to sign up for the Accu-Chek Guide SimplePay Program.
